Physiognomy is the ancient study of reading personality and character from facial features. Dating back to Aristotle and practiced across cultures for over 2,000 years, it analyzes facial structure, proportions, and features to identify character tendencies, strengths, and temperament. This app applies classical physiognomy traditions using AI to analyze any face photo.

What does the Physiognomy app reveal?

The app can reveal a Default Western reading, aesthetic impression, Chinese face reading zones, archetype and temperament, career and social persona, relationship style, saved readings, face comparisons, and shareable reading cards.

Can I share my reading?

Yes. Physiognomy creates 4:5 reading cards designed for social sharing. You can choose which part of the reading to share and control whether the card shows your first name, full name, or stays anonymous.

Is my face data private?

Yes. Photos are sent via HTTPS to a stateless proxy server for AI analysis only. The server does not store or log your image. All readings are stored locally on your device only. No account is required, and no personal data is retained on our servers.

What is a facial archetype in physiognomy?

A facial archetype is a personality pattern associated with a specific animal in the physiognomy tradition. The system identifies 20 archetypes including Eagle (visionary, strategic), Wolf (dominant, pack-oriented), Fox (clever, adaptable), Bear (grounded, protective), and Owl (observant, systematic).
